Biomimicry Shoe by Marieka Ratsma and Kostika Spaho

This unique shoe is called the Biomimicry, designed by Dutch fashion designer Marieka Ratsma and American architect Kostika Spaho. “Nature has been the main source of inspiration for the making and shaping of this shoe” as seen on pictures, the front of the shoe was insprired from the shape of a bird’s cranium and the hollow heel of these unique shoes was inspired from the aesthetics and the shape of the bird skull. Worlds Most Expensive Camera

The world’s most expensive camera goes to Leica’s – according to the World Records Academy. This most expensive camera is not the most advanced camera ever built, but it is one of around 25 test versions of Leica 0-Series cameras produced in 1923, two years before full production of this 35mm camera began in 1925. Only 12 are known still to exist.

The old Leica camera was bought by an unknown bidder at the Galerie Westlicht in Vienna, Austria, for 1.8 million euros or 2.16 million euros after tax! Read more

Garmin GLO Portable GPS and GLONASS Receiver for Smartphones

Garmin has announced its new device designed for smartphones, called the Garmin GLO. It is the first wireless GPS receiver that has ability to receive signals from both the United States’ GPS satellite network and Russia’s GLONASS satellite network.

The GLO wirelessly connects to Apple and Android devices via Bluetooth and will increase the accuracy of GPS signals for applications running on the devices. It has an internal rechargeable battery that provides up to 12 hours of battery life per charge, and it offers a position update rate of up to 10 times per second, which is 10 times faster than the regular GPS receivers of most mobile devices. Designed by Markus Gerke of Berlin, this instagram-inspired glasses is called the Instaglasses.

“Life is beautiful, even more beautiful with filters,” Markus Gerke. The Instaglasses has an “Insta” button that allows you to choose between different filters. The glasses would display filtered images in the lenses. You just simply press the shutter button to take a picture of what you are seeing, then upload it straight to Instagram. Read more
