This unique shoe is called the Biomimicry, designed by Dutch fashion designer Marieka Ratsma and American architect Kostika Spaho. “Nature has been the main source of inspiration for the making and shaping of this shoe” as seen on pictures, the front of the shoe was insprired from the shape of a bird’s cranium and the hollow heel of these unique shoes was inspired from the aesthetics and the shape of the bird skull. Ratsma and Spaho added the final touch to the shoes with 3D printing, to approach nature’s shapes even more closely.
