IKEA has released further details about the specifications for its new IKEA Uppleva TV system, which was first unveiled back in April. The basic version of the new IKEA integrated systems will be priced at around $960.
The IKEA Uppleva TV range include a various of screen sizes from 24 inches up to 46 inches and features an integrated Blu-ray player, along with a wireless subwoofer and around 20 per country.
Some of the other services available on the device will include QTom, a German Vevo competitor and TuneIn radio. Apps will also be available to facilitate music playback, games, VOD and catch-up video playback. Moreover, the IKEA Uppleva TV will also come with an open Web browser, Opera for TV.
The New IKEA Uppleva TV will be available in 5 European cities, Italy, France, Germany, Poland and Sweden IKEA stores next month, then will be arriving in additional stores throughout Europe in the fall and in the U.S. sometime during 2013.
